Using the Thread Box

 Thread Box is the tool to track what threads you have on hand.

Add to the Thread Box:

Tap the “+” icon to add a thread. Once added, it will be added to the top of the list. If the thread already exists on your list, you will be notified and it will not be added twice.

The supported brands will automatically populate the name once you enter the thread number.

The following brands are supported for easy entry:

  • DMC

  • Anchor

  • Sullivans

  • J&P Coats

  • Weeks Dye Works

You can also add other brands/limited edition colors using the “Other” option

Edit Quantities:

Tap the pencil icon to edit the quantity you want to record in your Thread Box.

Add to the Shopping List:

Once you’ve added thread to your Thread Box, you can easily add them to your Shopping List by tapping the shopping cart icon. This makes it easy to stay on top of the threads you need more of.

If a thread already exists on your shopping list, you will be notified and it will not be added twice.

Remove from the Thread Box:

Remove an item from your Thread Box by tapping the trash can. You will be prompted to confirm the action to avoid removing a thread in error.

Quick Search:

Tap the search icon in the toolbar to search for thread details. When you select a brand and enter the number, you will be taken to the details page, which will show how many are in your Thread Box and Shopping List as well as which projects use that thread. If available, a color swatch will be shown as well.

Full Brand List:

Tap the menu in the upper-right corner to toggle between your list ("My Threads”) and all supported brands. This will show you a full list for the brand; red zeroes will indicate which threads you are missing. Read more on the blog.
